How often should I groom my pet?

What services do you offer?

We offer a variety of services including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and full grooming packages that include haircuts and styling.

Can I stay with my pet during grooming?

For the comfort of your pet, we recommend that owners refrain from staying during the grooming session. This helps reduce anxiety and makes the process smoother.

Do you handle pets with special needs or behavioral issues?

Absolutely! Our team is trained to work with pets that have special needs or anxiety. Please inform us in advance about your pet’s requirements so we can provide the best care possible.

What should I do before bringing my pet in for grooming?

Make sure your pet is up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention. It’s also helpful to brush your pet beforehand to minimize matting and shedding.

What happens if my pet has an accident during grooming?

While we take every precaution to ensure a safe environment, accidents can occur. Our grooming facility is equipped to handle minor incidents, and we will contact you immediately for any significant issues.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept various forms of payment, including cash, credit/debit cards, and some mobile payment options. Please check with us for specifics.

Can I schedule an appointment online?

We only offer scheduling appointments phone call or text 630-449-9766.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

We understand that plans can change. Please give us a call as soon as possible to reschedule or cancel your appointment to avoid potential cancellation fees.

How can I maintain my pet’s coat between grooming sessions?

Regular brushing is the best way to keep your pet’s coat healthy.

Nikki is absolutely amazing! She is so patient with my scared/spazzy boys. I wouldn't get my pups groomed anywhere else! My boys still love going to see Nikki!

We can’t say enough good things about Dirty Pawz! This is the only place where my dogs feel truly comfortable, and that speaks volumes. I know they feel comfortable because they run into the place with excitement each and every time 🙂 Everyone here is incredibly kind and patient, making sure each visit is a positive experience for my pups. They always come back looking super duper adorable!!!! (Just look at their picture for adorable proof!) I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful groomer that truly cares about my boys. I rave about Dirty Pawz to everyone! You won’t regret coming here!

They do a great job here. Our dog always looks good after her appointment. Always has a new kerchief and bows after a visit. Well worth the money.

We love Dirty Pawz!! We have been going to Nikki and her team for over 3 years. She has gone above and beyond for our dogs through the years. She was with us when two passed away and when brought in a new puppy (see pic)This is a big puppy who hates her nails being trimmed and acts like a total drama queen. Nikki always takes the extra time and care with her and our older dog. We would never go anywhere else.

Our first experience has been good! Nikki is sweet, listens to what your looking for in a groom. The price isn't necessarily the least expensive around...but our pup loved that he wasnt in a cage while waiting. A nice perk!
